[Remember - these were written back when we found out we're expecting, so please don't get too excited about Nantucket red... I changed my mind later!]
Oh no! We’re going to an all-inclusive resort in two weeks, and now I won’t get to have any mai tais. Or sushi. Grrr – some timing.
And... after plugging my information into a website to find out my due date, it told me, “Congratulations, your baby is due December 20.” Grrr – some timing again! Our birthdays are 2 weeks after Christmas, kind of anticlimactic, and here we are bringing a child into the world around that very time. But, I imagine that having a birthday before Christmas is way better than after, and it’s my goal to make sure this kid feels extra special even in the midst of Christmas craziness.
Bottom line, we are thrilled to be having a baby whenever it happens!

Congrats ANNE!! I am so excited for you two (now three)!! No fruity drinks and no more margaritas either.
As for baby timing... my first was 10days late, my second 3 days, my third was 13days late. Late, late, late... I wouldn't wish it on anyone, but it think most people tend to be late with their first.
Yeah, don't count on the due date. I was 11 days late and wound up with a c-section after two days of induced labor. But most of my friends had their babies a few days early, so here's to hoping you fall in that category!
