I don't like to go out to eat on Mother's Day; same goes for Valentine's Day. It's kinda cliché and usually crowded, so Dad and I worked up a menu for us to enjoy at home. We were at Deep Creek Lake for the weekend, so my parents came over for dinner after we got home. Dad brought Butcher's Choice steaks, which he and Steve grilled. Mom fed Olivia while I made strawberry salads and sauteed the local asparagus Dad had also brought. Sister Schubert made the rolls.
