Final Class

We had our final childbirth preparedness class this week, so I guess this means we are fully prepared, right? This week was less eventful, but everybody did bring snacks to share. We watched a video on newborn appearance, which showed pictures of baby acne, cradle cap, and stork bites. And of course there was more vocabulary to learn like vernix, lanugo, and milia which basically reminded me of being back in college sitting through a biology lecture. Fortunately for this exam we'll have nurses to tell us what we need to know. The instructor also covered signs of postpartum depression like not showering, and that made me laugh because it also seems to be a symptom of working from home.
